Visit websiteThe former Toll House at Kingsholm Gate is thought to have been built for the Cheltenham and Gloucester Turnpike Trust in 1822 in the form of a lodge house with protruding front. Currently it is a domestic property with only minor changes to the original tollhouse structure.
External features; two-storeys on canted bay front with two wings floor plan, having a pyramidal roof, with walls mainly of render, roofed in slate, square headed windows with sliding sash, a blocked front with a window replacing the doorway; octagonal block attached to main building on corner site; central brick chimney stack. The windows to Kingsholm Road are blocked up.
The building is Listed Grade II.
