Visit websiteLike Needham Market this is another fine example of the work of Frederick Barnes. Its flamboyance and size may be partly attributable to the fact that the town council made a low interest loan towards its cost and built a new road to it. Whatever the cause, there are three distinct buildings, all Jacobean in flavour, with Dutch gables, mullion windows and tall elaborate chimney stacks. At one end there is an octagonal tower with an open parapet around the top.
Part is let to private interests but the station is still in operation.
By Road: On the A1120 on the north eastern side of the town.
