A Group visit to the Tyseley Depot in Birmingham has been arranged for Saturday 27th July at 2pm.
The tour will last for up to 2 hours duration and includes:
• Briefing in original GWR staff club
• Visit to miniature railway site
• Visit to locomotive roundhouse footprint & turntable and carriage shed
• Visit to signalbox
• Locomotive depot to view operational locomotives (but not the engineering workshop).
The charge for this visit is £12 for Members (£17 for non-members) to include tea / coffee on arrival and anyone wishing to join us on this visit is encouraged to sign up quickly, as spaces are limited to just 20 people and places will be allocated on a “first come first served basis”.
Once you have been notified that you have definitely been allocated a place on the visit, payment should be made to our Treasurer, but please do not send any payment until you have that confirmation.
