Visit websiteThis later toll house is thought to have been built for the Winchester to Petersfield Turnpike Trust in c. 1840. It is in the form of a lodge house with angular front.
Although currently a domestic property, only minor changes to the original tollhouse structure have been made.
External features; two-storeys on canted bay front floor plan, having a hipped, hip over bay roof, with walls mainly of brick, roofed in slate, round arch headed windows with sliding sash, no porch with a round arch headed doorway; polychromatic brick corners with blind window and lamp above door.
The building is Listed Grade II.
