Preservationist of the Year - Ray Hingley

Ray Hingley is awarded this years Preservationist of the Year tile for his restoration of Scania-Vabis LB76 tractor unit LGK 3D.  What makes this vehicle particularly noteworthy is that it is the truck which introduced the UK transport industry to the Scania brand. LGK 3D was literally the vehicle which started it all for Scania in the UK by convincing and inspiring British hauliers to make the transition to an entirely new breed of transport solution which promised hitherto unseen levels of efficiency, safety and reliability.
